On Alcohol, Drugs, and Addiction

In our order, we do not use drugs (smoked, injected, or otherwise ingested) in our practice. We recommend that our members avoid illegal drugs, and we discourage our members from abusing alcohol and prescription drugs.

Doing so opens the door to addiction. Addiction is another form of slavery and bondage.

The use of illegal drugs and abuse of prescription drugs and alcohol can also lead to becoming a slave or prisoner to the government, as in doing so you can become both a felon and/or an incarcerated person. These make you a subject, not a free citizen.

We encourage our members to be law abiding citizens in all things so as not to enter into slavery as imprisoned persons.

While we do not use such things in our practices, and we do discourage our members from using such things - we do not, however, believe that the government should be regulating such things. We believe that these should be available for people to decide for themselves.

We encourage our members to find candidates for office that support repealing laws against such things, and encourage our members to support legislation that repeals laws making people criminals for such things.

So mote it be.
