How To Encrypt E-Mails Using Protonmail

www.Protonmail.com is a service where you can send and receive encrypted e-mail messages. Encrypted messages generally can't be read by anyone other than the sender and the receiver. To anyone else they look like random text.

Our e-mail addresses support OpenPGP encryption. If you send us an e-mail from your Protonmail account including your signature and public key, we will digitally sign and include our public key with the reply, with encryption required.

To do this in Protonmail...

As you compose a message, click on the small "down arrow" at the right side of the window.

Select the options for Sign Message and Attach Public Key. Do this every time you send a message to us.

That will send us what we need. When you get our reply, you will see the following in the window...

Select Trust Key on the right side, then click on Trust Key in the next window. This will allow us to send private messages back and forth.

So mote it be.
